Updated: June 23rd, 2026
Welcome to Carlton The Mechanic LLC. These Service Conditions explain what customers should expect when scheduling mobile automotive services.
These Service Conditions work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy .
1. SERVICE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
Carlton The Mechanic provides mobile automotive services at the Customer’s requested location.
The vehicle must be located in a safe, legal, and accessible area with enough space to perform the requested service.
The vehicle should be parked on a stable and reasonably level surface free from hazards.
If the service location is unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for repairs, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or canceled.
2. WEATHER & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Mobile repairs may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather conditions including rain, storms, high winds, extreme temperatures, or unsafe working conditions.
3. MOBILE EQUIPMENT LIMITATIONS
Carlton The Mechanic performs repairs using mobile tools and equipment.
Some repairs require specialized shop equipment, vehicle lifts, additional technicians, or controlled repair environments that may not be available during a mobile appointment.
Services outside of mobile capabilities may require referral to another repair facility.
4. VEHICLE INFORMATION & PREPARATION
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information including year, make, model, engine, mileage, symptoms, previous repairs, and modifications.
Customers should disclose known concerns, warning lights, and previous repair history before service begins.
5. PARTS & CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS

Carlton The Mechanic LLC does not warranty customer-supplied parts or cover failures caused by incorrect, defective, or incompatible parts.
6. PRE-EXISTING & HIDDEN VEHICLE ISSUES
Vehicle age, mileage, rust, corrosion, previous repairs, modifications, and existing damage may affect service results.
Carlton The Mechanic is not responsible for unrelated failures or pre-existing conditions not caused by the service performed.
If additional issues are discovered during service, the Customer will be notified before additional work is performed.
7. TOWING & VEHICLE RELOCATION
Carlton The Mechanic does not provide towing or vehicle relocation services.
If a vehicle cannot be safely accessed, started, moved, or repaired at the service location, towing or another transportation method may be required at the Customer’s expense.
8. APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Appointments are scheduled based on availability and estimated service times.
Customers should provide notice as soon as possible for cancellations or scheduling changes.
Once service has started, diagnostic work, travel, or labor has been performed, charges may apply according to the Terms of Service.

Customers must keep children, pets, and bystanders away from the repair area during service.
Customers should inform Carlton The Mechanic of any hazards, unsafe conditions, or concerns at the service location.
