Welcome to Carlton The Mechanic LLC! We work hard to deliver convenient, reliable mobile auto repair and maintenance services. However, due to the nature of mobile repairs, certain limitations apply. Please read the following carefully before booking your appointment to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Service Location Requirements

  • We require a safe, legal, and accessible location to perform vehicle services.
  • The vehicle must be parked on a stable, level surface free of hazards.
  • If our technician deems the location unsafe or inaccessible, the appointment may be rescheduled or canceled.

2. Weather and Environmental Conditions

  • Services may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to inclement weather such as rain, snow, high winds, or extreme temperatures.
  • Your safety and the quality of our repairs are our highest priorities.

3. Equipment and Tools Limitations

  • We perform repairs using portable, mobile tools and equipment.
  • Some diagnostics or repairs require specialized shop equipment and cannot be completed on-site.
  • We reserve the right to refer you to a professional shop for services beyond our mobile capabilities.

4. Customer-Supplied Parts

  • If you supply parts, please ensure they are compatible and of good quality.
  • We cannot guarantee the performance of repairs involving customer-supplied parts and disclaim any warranties for such work.

5. Pre-Existing or Hidden Vehicle Issues

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or vehicle problems unrelated to the current service.
  • If unexpected issues arise during service, we will inform you immediately. Additional repairs will only be performed after your approval.

6. Towing and Vehicle Relocation

  • We do not offer towing or vehicle relocation services.
  • If your vehicle cannot be safely accessed or repaired at the location, towing may be required at your expense.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  • Refunds are only given if the appointment is canceled before approval and before service has started (for example, due to weather or unforeseen scheduling conflicts).
  • Once service begins, no refunds will be issued.

8. Liability and Warranty Disclaimers

Mobile mechanic services have inherent limitations and risks compared to traditional shop repairs. By booking service, you acknowledge and accept these limitations. While we strive for excellent workmanship, we disclaim liability for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the service.

Warranties on parts and labor will be provided where applicable, but no warranties apply to customer-supplied parts or services beyond our mobile capabilities.

9. Safety and Customer Cooperation

  • Please ensure pets and children are kept clear of the service area.
  • Provide clear access to your vehicle and necessary areas for safe and efficient repair.
  • Inform us of any hazardous conditions or materials near the service site.
