2. SERVICES
Carlton The Mechanic LLC provides mobile auto repair and maintenance services. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without notice.
Important Disclaimer: Repairs are performed outside a controlled shop environment. This may limit the types of services we can provide on-site. Weather, location safety, and space limitations may impact our ability to perform certain work.
3. USER OBLIGATIONS
You agree to provide accurate information and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our services.
4. PAYMENT
Payments for services & parts are due at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before your appointment.
Refunds are only issued if:
- The service has not been approved
- The cancellation is due to conditions such as inclement weather or mechanical delays on our end
All sales are final once service has been approved and work has begun. Refunds will not be issued except under special circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. Arrival times are estimates and subject to change. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, emergencies, or weather.
7. VEHICLE OWNERSHIP AND AUTHORIZATION
You affirm that you are the registered owner or have legal authorization to schedule service on the vehicle.
8. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS
We provide no warranties on parts, services, or labor as specified at the time of service. All other warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. While we stand behind the quality of our work, we are not responsible for any voiding of manufacturer, dealer, or third-party warranties resulting from services performed. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify whether any requested service or repair may impact existing warranties on their vehicle.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service provided. Under no circumstances shall we be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to property, arising from or related to the services performed.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and any other materials, is the property of Carlton The Mechanic LLC. or used with written permission. This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

28. SMS TEXT MESSAGING
You may receive texts from us. To opt out, reply STOP. Message/data rates may apply.
29. CALIFORNIA USERS
Unresolved complaints can be reported to the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
30. MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms do not create an employment or agency relationship. Force majeure applies to delays beyond our control.
31. MOBILE MECHANIC-SPECIFIC DISCLAIMERS
Service Location Requirements: You must provide a safe, legal, and level surface for service. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if the location is unsafe or inaccessible.
Weather Conditions: Services may be postponed due to rain, snow, wind, or other weather-related hazards.
Parts: We are not responsible for issues resulting from parts. No warranty is offered on parts.
Limited Equipment: On-site repairs are limited by the tools and conditions available. Some diagnostics or repairs may require shop referral.
Not Liable for Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for hidden or unrelated vehicle issues discovered during service.
No Tow Services Included: Vehicles requiring relocation must be towed at the customer’s expense.
